New Sculpt Preview
Hi Folks! Here's a quick look at a very rough sculpture I'm working on at the moment, its basically going to be an extremely old Predator, who has just won his last battle and is almost dead with exhaustion. The pole he is clinging to will be replaced with a spear, and there is still much work to be done on the body and face.. I'll keep you posted! (Size wise he is probably Half a meter tall when standing, maybe a little bigger.) (Sorry for Phone quality Pics!)

Lunchtime Speed Sculpt
Lunchtime in Brown Bag and a bunch of us met up in the kitchen area and had a go at some speed sculpts. Good laugh was had by everyone, I managed to get a dinosaur in there, even if its only one side of his head..

Zombie Animator
Finally finished my submission for the Animation Art Show, a great charity
raising money for children in need. Given the time of year it will be when the
auction takes place I decided to go for a Zombie, and fitting in very loosely
with the theme of animation, he has a pencil, Thus, a Zombie Animator. Sculpted
in Chavant ‘Le Beau Touché’, cast in resin, approx. 8inches tall.
Here is a quick Phone quality progression collage..

Killer croc Bust, Progress update 04
Another progress update on this guy, Been working on the left side of his face (his left, image right) I made a few custom scale stamp tools to help generate some proper scales and not just a grid drawn on. He also has a new set of eyes and new angry brows. Still a long ways to go.............

Killer Croc Bust: update 3
As
promised, here is another update on the Croc sculpture, I swapped his plain white
eyes for some blue ones, but eventually I will replace them with reptile ones
that I have ordered online. The rest of the work has been on scales… so many
scales.. *cries*
I’ve been
trying to keep as symmetrical as possible but the great thing about crocs is
that they are not perfectly symmetrical, looking at reference pictures and they
are surprisingly un-even, which works great for me, haha! –I also started on
his neck and chest area again after further research.
Another few
weeks of detailing and he will be done, Thinking I might mould him and make a
realistic silicone version as a display piece..
Stay tuned!
