Final Film Concepts

Heres some old concept art from my Final Film last year for animation, i wanted it set on mars with 2 little critters squabbling over a mars rover they discover. an earlier draft was that they find two and then race them.

Finbarr Galedeep Character Maquette

College project from 2nd year, the project was to take a piece of text and design a character based on that text, i chose the Redwall book 'The Bellmaker' and the character of the otter pirate 'Finbarr Galedeep'. this is a maquette version of my design.

Pit Bot 2009

my pit bod model from modelmaking final year, life size puppeteerable prop with working lights, made of over 200 individually hand crafted parts cast in various materials such as epoxy resin, fiberglass, carbon fiber and vac formed styrene. 50 LEDs light the whole thing up.

just a quick doodle of a new plushie i'm working on- the alien Prawn, 'Christopher Johnson' (what a name!) from District 9. finished plush should be up soon. :)

Creature Update

recently bought a 'Light tent' to photograph my models in, still trying to figure out the lighting and the settings on my camera but heres some of the more sucessful pics. also the sculpt is moving on well, ive started on the rider character, kind of a warrior chameleon but i'm going to give it hi-tech armour, just for the sci-fi twist.
